| Weapon - Equipment Template
As everyone knows there is multiple types of weapons found within the world of Naruto. Weapons is found in an abundance. Some weapons are plain, and universal like the Katana, while some weapons are more Unique, and interesting like the Samehade. Some techniques are dedicated to the universal weapons, in which someone will have to use the Jutsu Template stating what weapon they are making the jutsu for to where any person would be capable of such usage, while some techniques are dedicated to certain types of Unique like weapons. With each weapon there are two types of weaponry. One type of weaponry is called Secondary Weapons. Secondary weapons are weapons where a user may have an abundance depending on what they have on stating how much they may carry. The Main weapons are weapons where a user may have that can not fit within a pouch, and would have to carry along their sides, back, front, or hold onto the weapon if necessary. These Weapons are unlimited, however it must be kept realistic. No one can be capable of carrying more weapons then they can handle. Within each weapon, there are multiple Genre of weapons. These Genres are known as Blunt Weapons, Slashing Weapons, Piercing Weapons, Soft Weapons, Sharp Weapons and etc. These types of weapons are normally not defined because of the vast amounts of weaponry that a person may have, and it is kind of difficult to keep track as to what type of weapon one weapon may be. Many of the most familiar weapons are known as Swords, Staffs, Whips, Clubs, Hammers, Axes, Gloves, Spears, Sickles (Scythes), Knives. These types of Equipment, Weaponry are allowed to come with their own Jutsus. Other things however are not. Naruto is based on Chakra, and Chakra can not put into every little thing. Weapons is a source of destruction and is the easiest way of putting something into it where it is capable of being used. There are however accessories that may not be capable of using Jutsus, or gaining Attributes. As stated before this is the world of Naruto, and not the world of Final Fantasy, or Dungeons and Dragons. Keep it that way. This means that there are sorts of items, or accessories that may not be capable of being used for Jutsu Purposes. These Items, and don't limit to just, are Rings, Shirts, Pants, Coats, Socks, Shoes, Hats and etc. We may allow a few here and there but that is dedicated and a privilege only to the Staff for they are "supposed" to have a better grasp as to what is considered to be acceptable. With that saying inanimate objects should not be allowed to give power ups or be used for Jutsu Purposes such as House Hold Items, Desks, Tables, Chairs, and etc. ::: Restrictions:::
- Before Creating: Look through the Item Shop Index as well as the Accepted Weapons Board. If you see something that is similar, try using that, even if there is a few things that may not be exactly like yours.
- Unique:
Try to be Unique if possible. If you want to make a Katana with a White Handle, use the Long Sword Diagram of an over view and just have it like that saying what kind of katana it is and buy it that way, or put it into your bio when creating a character. Do not put it through customs because there is overviews of different styles of weapons.
- Weapons with Abilities:
No Weapons with Abilities within them. Every specialized weapon will have techniques, not abilities. Any weapon with abilities will be denied. No exception. No free techniques within weapons either. There will be techniques for weapons if one wishes, but you must learn them. Nothing is free. No element, no ability, and no nullifying. If a weapon has a seal, there has to have to be a technique on learning the seal. If the weapon is greatly specialized the weapon will need technique in how to control the weapon.
- Attributes: No
Weapons with Attributes within them such as speed enhancement, strength enhancement. Equipment and items maybe if legal and capable, however no multiples.
- Accessories: One is capable of
making accessories, and actual equipment items, however these items may not have Attributes within them, and may not be capable of performing Jutus. Keep them for weapons only.
- Cannon:
Anything Orochimaru, Akatsuki, or Hebi is being dealt with by staff, if you wish to submit suggestions do so by sending them to either the admin or headmods.
- Previous Acceptances:
Saying "Well you Allowed This before" is not an excuse and will not be tolerated. Their Item is not in question and will not help the current item to be accepted. This type of statement will be ignored.
- Read the Rules:
Read the Rules, ignorance is not an excuse, and stating, "It is not in the rules" if something is not going to be accepted is not an excuse either, because rules can easily be changed and added.
Now, I shall go by step by step and list all of the important details. Name
- The
Name of the Weapon or Equipment is important because, obviously, you need to have a name for your attack. It can be in any language, but since this is a pre-dominantly English-speaking board, you’re also required to attach, in parenthesis ( ) the name of the Weapon or Equipment. Doing the name in another language adds some unique flavor to your Weapon or Equipment, but it is not necessary. There are several online translators available for use in the production of names, and I will, at the end of this guide, give the link for the site that I use for translations.
Rank:
- D-S
The Descriptions of the Ranks are Listed within this thread for Each Rank is has its own place or purpose. Do not mix the Ranks from the ranks of the Jutsus. A weapon does not disclose how much chakra is consumed by the rank of the weapon, or by what rank a user must be in order to be capable of wielding a weapon, or having an equipment. The Ranks D-S establishes the uniqueness of the weapon, as well as the strength of a weapon. This means that a D Rank Weapon is going to be basic, not very unique, such as a Kunai. A C rank weapon would be considered to be stronger then that of a D Rank weapon but still not very unique such as a Katana. Do not mix this up however with other creations such as a S Rank weapon will automatically cut another weapon or break another weapon of smaller rank. It does not work like that. The rank is just a simple statement of how unique the weapon may be, and the strength within the weapon itself. Any basic weapon may be used to start off with. Any weapon that has their own unique set of Jutsus dedicated to just that weapon. (Example the Samehade) may not be started out with, because these weapons are Unique. Most of the time weapons B Rank and Higher are types of weapons that may not be started out with.
Type:
- There
are different types of weapons and types of equipments. For that this is one of the most concentrated section within the template of creating a weapon or a template. This section will help others in many ways as to what exactly are they looking at without reading fully in complete detail. Also this helps staff get a better understanding towards what is being created below, and that is why this is one of the most concentrated sections in an overview fashion.
- Secondary, Main, Slot Holder, Transportation
- What kind of item do you have here, is this a secondary item where you may have an abundance in a compact form that may fit within our Slot System? Secondary Items are items such as Kunais, Shurikens, Exploding Tags, or anything else such as that. If it is a Secondary Item, type up Secondary Weapon, and next to it, state how many fit within on slot, or how many slots equals one item. Is this a Main Item where you have one, or two of something, and carry with it at all times that does not fit within a slot formation? Main Items are items such as Swords, Massive Hammers, or anything else that honestly does not fit within the Slot System of Weaponry. Is this a Lost Holder? Slot Holders are accessories that allows a user the capability of having extra slots for their secondary items. Next to the word Slot Holder, state how many Slots the item is capable of holding. Is this some time of transportation? Transportations is an abundance it is something that enables someone the capability of moving from one location to another without walking. No Cars, No Futuristic things, motorcycles, or anything else like that is allowed to be created. Also remember that these are the most expensive things to buy and no one is allowed to start off with one.
- Weapon, Equipment, Accessory
- This only applies to Main, Secondary and Slot Holder, it does not apply to Transportation. State Weapon, if this is a Weapon that is being created. State Equipment if this is some sort of piece of Equipment being created. State Accessory if this is some sort of Accessory being created. Weapons are, well, weapons, something to be used to harm someone in the most common sense form. I understand Common Sense does not exist but please try and execute it and prove others wrong. Equipment are items that enables and helps a user into finding something, surviving something, surveillance, and others of such Genre, as well as Clothing. Accessories are items that are considered to be odd objects, Desks, Tables, or anything else that does not fit within Weapons or Equipment.
- One Word Description
- Next to the previous information, state what it is in one word. This one word is simple, easy, any child would be capable of getting this correctly. This will help staff, as well as other users to know exactly what is being made without reading through paragraphs of information drawing their own conclusion. These One Word Descriptions run as "Sword, Staff, Spear, Suit, Ship, Siege Weapon," anything of that sword, keep it one, or two words if possible, no long drawn mass creation stating what it is in a college level form. Just one word, the most basic genre of what the item is in the most simplistic form. Instead of Nodachi say (Sword), instead of Extended Bladed Gauntlet say (Gauntlet). I know this part will sound rude, but if a person is incapable of stating this, give up creating an item please.
- Example: ... ... ... ... Type: Secondary, 2 per Slot, Accessory, Candy.
Simple... ... ... I hope.
</LI> </li> Effect:
- A
dumbed-down version of the description. Here you list the most basic of effects, what the weapon or equipment is capable of, but you leave out the drawback and what it looks like completely.
Special:
- Anything
special like is there any prerequisites to master the item, or be capable of using the item. Does a Ritual need to be performed in order to use it correctly? What Class Level does the user must be in order to use the weapon properly.
Drawback:
- This
is what your weapon does that can be considered negative towards you. Does the weapon have any drawbacks when used. Chakra consumption is not a drawback but if it takes up chakra please mention it in here. Not all weapons need Drawbacks understand. Most “B” Rank and higher Weapons or Equipment sometimes cannot get through the acceptance process without a drawback, although sometimes it does occur. Most drawbacks are simple to determine; they’re just something that makes sense, you know? The whole phrase “If you play with fire, sooner or later you’re going to get burned” comes into play here. If you’re really having trouble creating a drawback, you can go ahead and say so, and one of the staff will be more than willing to help you come up with one.
Description:
- This
is the area where you go through, step by step, listing your Weapon or Equipment. State the size of the item, length, width, depth, maybe weight. What it looks like in color, shape, form. Is there any Jewelry on it, is it jewelry. This is normally the longest part of the entire justu and should be very detailed.
Limit:
- The
Requirements of the weapon. What must be done in order to gain a weapon. No weapon may be gained for free if it is special, or if it is not special. If the weapon is a family herlum it must be Roleplayed out. What must the user do in order to gain the weapon. What must the user do in order to master the weapon. Is it found in a clan? A village? A City? A Country?
Cost:
- How
much does the item cost. Every Item Costs no matter what, no matter the excuse. If you put in "It costs nothing cause no one will take it" or anything along those lines, don't expect it to be there, it will be deleted, not moved, deleted, so don't let the admin catch it. All items will start with the base cost found in all Overview Items found in the Item Index. With that saying, depending on the type of weapon, the strength of the weapon, the make of the weapon, as well as the uniqueness of the weapon states the cost of the weapon as well.
- Ranks:
The Weapon Overview is the base price, any weapon with ranks higher then the overview weapon must add 200 Ryo to that base price.
- Clans and Bloodlimits: If the weapon is found only in a Clan it costs 500 Ryo Extra, if it is found only in a Bloodlimit it costs a 1,000 Ryo extra.
- One of a Kind: If the weapon is one of a kind expect 5,000 Ryo Increase
- Masters: If the item is created from Masters the price increases 2,000 Ryo.
- Slots: Anything with slots is automatically 300 Ryo per slot.
