Name:
- The
Name of the Animal is important because, obviously, you need to have a name for your Animal. It can be in any language, but since this is a pre-dominantly English-speaking board, you are also required to attach, in parenthesis () the name of the Animal. Doing the name in another language adds some unique flavor to your Animal, but it is not necessary. There are several online translators available for use in the production of names.
Location:
- The
Location consists of one part for the Animal Template. It consists of Location within Regions. The Locations are divided up into 16 Regions. An Animal may be found in multiple Regions within reason, however it is unlikely to find an Animal in the Arctic Region as well as a Volcanic Region. This gives an idea of where a user must go to search for the Animal in question. An Animal is not set within a season because no matter what an Animal even though may be hibernating may be found.
- Arctic
- The Arctic Region is a section of land that is considered to be extremely cold through the year. The arctic has a tendency to allow hardly any life especially that of plant life. The Arctic section is found within the high northern parts and low southern parts completely away from the warm areas.
- Coastal - A
coastal region is a land based area where it lies near areas of vast amounts of salt water which can be found within a large Salt water lake, as well as oceans and seas. Coastal sometimes reach all the way back up to five miles beyond the normal point of the salt water.
- Desert
- A desert region can be found around most places. A desert is a region defined as having an average of approximately less then ten inches or rain per year. A section that is very dry, where rain hardly drops upon is a place known as a Desert.
- Forest - A
forest is any area that is heavily covered with trees. There are both large forests, which may cover vast areas, and small forests. A forest can usually be identified by covering at least five-quarter miles in diameter.
- Grasslands - A Grassland is a
place barely touched by agriculture and has very few trees within as well. The land is made up mostly by Grass hence the name, Grasslands. The grass can sometimes reach up to at two feet, even three or four feet high.
- Hills - A hill is a relatively
small raised area of land. They are often found at the foot of mountains, but may exist in their own right, separate from the surrounding landscape.
- Jungle - A Jungle
is found within Tropical Regions where the weather is constant, where the summers are wet, and has dry winters. Similar to that of a Forest but with more of a Tropical feel such as no pine trees.
- Mountains
- Very large, raised areas of land, often found at the borders of continental shelves. A notable feature of mountains is that they are, due to their height, often much colder than the surrounding land. Another feature is the rain shadow phenomena. It may rain very heavily on one side of a mountain, but not at all on the other.
- Rivers
- A river is a large natural waterway. It is a specific term in the vernacular for large streams, stream being the umbrella term used in the scientific community for all flowing natural waterways. In the vernacular, stream may be used to refer to smaller streams, as may creek, run, fork, etc.
- Rural - This describes farmland, land that has been turned over to agriculture, but is only sparsely settled.
- Special - Listed within the Description of the Animals.
- Swamp
- A swamp is a wetland that features permanent inundation of large areas of land by shallow bodies of water, generally with a substantial number of hummocks, or dry-land protrusions. Swamps usually are regarded as including a large amount of woody vegetation. When a wetland area does not, it is usually termed a marsh.
- Underworld - Underworld is simply stated as under ground complexes such as underground cities, caves, caverns and other things of sort.
- Urban - Any area that is widely settled, such as towns, villages or cities.
- Volcanoes
- A volcano is a geological landform (usually a mountain) where magma (rock of the earth's interior made molten or liquid by high pressure and temperature) erupts through the surface of the planet. Although there are numerous volcanoes (some very active) on the solar system's rocky planets and moons, on Earth at least, this phenomenon tends to occur near the boundaries of the continental plates. However, important exceptions exist in hot spot volcanoes.
- Wasteland
- Land which is considered to be economically unfit for production, such as swampland or desert land. This type of land is usually defined as a place such as an Elephant graveyard, or a place where a great disaster has suddenly occurred, allowing hardly any growth.

Preparation:
- Preparation
is what is needed in order to state what a user must do in order to use the effects of the Animal part properly. Does the user have to use the Animal part as a tea substance? Do they have to freeze the Animal part before using it? Does the user have to be dried? How long does it take in order to perform the actions needed? Can a user just simply pop the stuff in their mouth, or simply apply it to their wounds? Does it need preparation at all?. Remember the longer it takes and harder it takes for preparation the stronger and more potent, as well harder to handle the Animal part will become.
Special:
- Anything
special like is there any prerequisites to master the item, or be capable of using the Animal part. Does a Ritual need to be performed in order to use it correctly? What Class Level does the user must be in order to use the Animal part properly. Does the user have to go on a long journey in order to find the Animal part? Is there a specific Period of when a user may find the Animal part? Important Every Animal must state the difficulty of finding the Animal. To find an Animal a user must get a staff member to do a die roll within the region they are located in to see if they have found the Animal. Animals are divided into 5 Difficulty Categories. They are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare, and Nearly Impossible. The Dice For each Difficulty (Common - 80% - 65%, Uncommon - 64% - 20%, Rare - 19% - 11%, Very Rare- 10% - 4%, Nearly Impossible- 3% - 1%)
Description:
- This
is the area where you go through, systematically listing your Animal. State the size of the Animal, length, width, depth, and maybe weight. What it looks like in color, shape, and form. Is there any unique marking on the Animal. This is normally the longest part of the Animal and should be at least semi detailed. Please also elaborate as to how long the Animal may last when the Animal is taken. An unprepared Animal may last up to eighteen weeks, while a prepared Animal may last up to four years long on a shelf when dried, while a concoction may sometimes last a lifetime. Since this is the First Part and for singular Animals, concoctions are only using the Animal as a singular, as in not mixing multiple Animals.
Drawback:
- Does
the Animal have a backfire against you? What if the Animal is handled with bare hands does it harm the user? Can a person become addicted to the Animal, and if so what happens to them and how may they get out of the addiction. How careful must a user be while handling the Animal. Does the Animal have any drawbacks when used? The whole phrase “If you play with fire, sooner or later you’re going to get burned” comes into play here when dealing with a strong Animal. If you are really having trouble creating a drawback, you can go ahead and say so, and one of the staff will be more than willing to help you come up with one.
Cost
- When
determining the Price of the Animal as a Singular option, please look down through the thread. Each Animal is divided up by rarity, and size of the Animal. Since an Animal may be found in all seasons no matter what, the user must look through the tables and take in an automatic Season 2 for each Animal. Go through the tables, and list through what you have chosen for the Animal.
- Example: If you have an
Animal, all animals are found all year round but you must take a Season 2 for the Animal, finding the Animal is 11%, and is a Large Sized Animal the price will be 20,000 Ryo Full Price in Region, 40,000 Ryo Full Price in Opposite Region, 8,000 Ryo Extract Cost for 8 uses in Region, 16,000 Ryo Extract Cost for 8 uses in Opposite Region.
